Parkinson's Specialist Nurses

Community-based Parkinson's Specialist Nurses – many in regional and rural areas – provide support, advice, and connection with services for people living with Parkinson's.

Parkinson's Support Groups

Parkinson’s Support Groups are an informal gathering of people who share similar experiences, situations or issues. There are more than 70 Parkinson’s support groups throughout metropolitan and regional NSW.

Parkinson's HealthLine

The Parkinson's HealthLine is the gateway to evidence-based information, advice and connection with services provided by Parkinson's Registered Nurses.

Newly Diagnosed Education

Many questions and mixed feelings are generated by a diagnosis of Parkinson's. Targeted education seminars help to remove fear and doubt and offer a way forward.

Education for Health Professionals

Parkinson's is a complex disease and it requires specialist knowledge to diagnose and treat. Ongoing education for Primary and Allied Health providers and Aged Care support workers is essential.

Counselling Sessions

People living with Parkinson’s, can access the services of two Parkinson’s NSW Counsellors. This service is provided at no cost to the user.
