The Great Parkinson's Tea Party ideas
Host a Tea Party any time throughout the month of October. The Great PARKINSON'S Tea Party is a community event that raises vital funds that Parkinson's NSW to continue offering essential services to people living with Parkinson's, their families and carers.

Host a Tea Party in the comfort of your own home. Invite your closest friends/family and ask them to donate to attend.

Embrace the spring season with a Tea Party in the park. Extend invitations to friends and family, encouraging them to bring a dish and contribute a donation for entry.

Host a Tea Party in your work place and get creative. The department with the best decorations wins bragging rights.

Hold a dress-up day and get your school/class to dress up for a gold coin donation. Why not theme the dress up for example a colour or characters from a book.

Host a Tea Party in your office. Ask everyone to donate to attend or to purchase an item. You could even add the element of competition by holding a Tea Party bake off and finding the best baker.

Hold a Tea Party following your Parkinson's Support Group meeting. Get particpants to bake their speciality dish and see who is the best baker in the Support Group. Charge a small fee to take part.

Hold a guess the number of Tea Bags in a jar competition. For a small donation people can guess the number of Tea Bags for a prize. You dont have to use tea bags you can use coffee bens, jelly beans its up to you.

Ask you local coffee shop if they will hold a Tea Party during the month of October and perhaps contribute 10c from every coffee sold to go towards your fundraising tally.
