In memory of Rosemary Maher

Rosemary was afflicted with PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) in her later years. It slowly diminished her functioning but didn't take Rosemary away from us. Her fortitude, stoicism, good humour and graciousness were evident all the way through. She took each 'progression' in her stride and was always positive and polite to all those she had dealings with.

The people at Parkinsons NSW provided advice and support when it was sought. It would be great if more resources could be made available to render assistance particularly to those with this affliction. It has very specific effects and differs from mainstream Parkinsons. More research is required to understand it better and hopefully find treatments.
