Christopher Chee Seng Poon is remembered with deep love as the devoted husband of Mary for 55 years, cherished father of Terence, Myra and Audrey, and father-in-law to Be Be, Cliff and Tony. Loving brother of Gillian. Treasured grandfather of Evan, Grace, Christopher, Kal, Austin, Marius, Liesl and Casper.
Christopher devoted his life to the care of children as a paediatrician. He loved learning and teaching and was a highly respected colleague and mentor. Kind, compassionate and generous, he left a lasting impression on all who knew him — whether for many years or just a brief moment in time. He treasured time spent with family and friends, found joy in music, tended lovingly to his roses, and delighted in good food.
He lived with Parkinson's disease for many years with quiet strength. The Dance with Parkinson's sessions brought him particular joy — a reminder that life, in all its fullness, continued to be embraced.
To honour his legacy, we are supporting Parkinson's NSW in their vital work alongside people and families living with Parkinson's disease. We hope you will join us in this tribute to a remarkable man.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
