We're fundraising for...

Every step towards a cure.

At age 63, and living with Parkinson’s disease for over 8 years, Mike Solomons has decided to take on an extraordinary challenge: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world, to raise funds for Parkinson’s research and services.

Together with his son Joel (32), Mike will attempt to summit the 5,895-metre peak as part of a fundraising initiative called “Peak for Parkinson’s.”

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological condition affecting millions of people worldwide. While treatments exist to help manage symptoms, there is currently no cure.

Through their climb, Mike and Joel hope to raise funds to provide vital services for people living with Parkinson's and to support research aimed at improving treatments and accelerating the search for a cure.

Please donate generously.
