During 2021/22 our supporters helped us deliver the following to people living with Parkinson's.
3,339 InfoLine calls were answered, providing information and referrals to people living with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.
5,564 People supported by Parkinson's Nurses.
8 Parkinson’s Specialist Nurses were supported, travelling a total of 36,700 kilometres.
70 Support groups offered more than 2,500 participants valuable peer-support in cities and regional areas – including online via Facebook and Zoom video-chat sessions.
1,096 Individual counselling sessions.
Parkinson’s NSW is a for-purpose organisation striving to make life better for people living with Parkinson’s, their families, and carers.
It provides essential services such as counselling, Support Groups, an InfoLine supported by Parkinson’s Registered Nurses, education, NDIS advocacy, Support Coordination and fundraising for service delivery. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of people affected by Parkinson’s.
