Tea, Love & Parkinson’s
I’m hosting a Great Parkinson’s Tea Party in honour of my beautiful Nan, who was diagnosed earlier this year.
Coming to terms with this diagnosis has been incredibly difficult for her, and for our family. I wanted to turn something that has brought us a lot of sadness and uncertainty into something positive, like a day filled with love, laughter, friendship, delicious food and plenty of cups of tea. ❤️
My hope is to bring our family, friends and community together to give my Nan something to smile about, while also raising much-needed funds and awareness for Parkinson’s research, support and services.
This cause is now very close to my heart, and if we can make even a small difference to other people and families facing Parkinson’s, then our tea party will be so worthwhile.
Most importantly, I want my Nan to know that she isn’t facing this alone. We’re all in this together. 💜
So, we’re putting the kettle on, bringing everyone together and turning a difficult chapter into a beautiful day to remember! 🫖💖
